Flagship feature

Snap a photo. Count nothing.

Point your camera at the machine. Prestock reads every slot, counts every product, and flags every uncertain row. You just check the work — and ship the restock in a fraction of the time.

How it works

1

Capture

Open the restock session, tap the teal Photo button. A full-screen camera modal opens — no app install.

2

Analyse

Tap Analyse. Prestock scans the photo and returns slot detection and product counts in seconds.

3

Review

Form auto-populates with detected counts. Green = high confidence, yellow = double-check, grey = rough.

4

Save

Adjust anything obvious, save the session. Cash variance, stock movements, alerts — all flow downstream.

Why confidence flags matter

Not every count is equal. The UI tells you which ones to trust.

Photo recognition is fast but not perfect. The difference between a tool that pretends otherwise and a tool that earns trust is honesty about uncertainty. Every detected count gets a confidence flag — so you spend your verification time exactly where it matters.

High confidence

Clearly visible, fully unobstructed slot. Trust the count, move on.

Medium confidence

Partially obscured, glare, or odd angle. Glance at it, adjust if needed.

Low confidence

Rough estimate. Open the slot, count by hand. The AI flagged it for a reason.

Built for operators

Cuts the boring half of your route — without asking you to trust a black box.

Counting slots is the part of restocking nobody likes, so we taught Prestock to do it. The trade-off we won't make is pretending it's perfect. Every slot comes back with a confidence flag so you spend your verification time exactly where it matters — and you finish the route hours sooner without second-guessing the numbers later.

Frequently asked

What if the photo's blurry?

Prestock drops the confidence flag on anything it can't see clearly, pre-fills what it's sure of, and tells you which slots to recheck — you're never relying on a guess. You can also retake the photo before you save.

How is AI usage billed?

AI usage runs through a provider key we set up with you at onboarding, billed at cost — we don't mark it up. Most operators come in well under $20/month, even on large fleets.

Does it work for drink machines and combos?

Anything front-loaded with visible slots — snack, drink, combo. We've tested it across all three. For deep-coil machines or unusual layouts, we tune the slot mapping with you during onboarding.

How long does an analysis take?

Roughly 4–8 seconds end-to-end on regular mobile data. The bottleneck is the photo upload, not the AI.

What about privacy of machine photos?

Photos are sent for AI analysis under the provider key we set up with you, never stored on Prestock servers, and never used for model training. Only the detected counts get saved against the restock session — the photo itself does not.

Ready to see Prestock?

Fifteen minutes. We'll spin up a sandbox with your fleet so you can poke around — Optix Restock, Pickr Audio, the works.
