Why Prestock exists.
Built because the software we were running our vending business on wasn't built for operators. It was built for software people who'd never restocked a machine at 5am.
Lake Macquarie Vending began as a side project — a single combo machine in a local gym. Within a couple of years it was a real business: dozens of machines, school routes, cash to count, picklists to print. The software available didn't keep up.
Spreadsheets bled into a generic SaaS that bled back into spreadsheets. Restocks took too long. Cash variances slipped. The picklist-PDF was 12 pages of squinting in a fluorescent warehouse. Nothing synced. Nothing knew.
Prestock started as a weekend tool to fix one workflow at a time. Optix Restock — because counting slots by hand was the worst hour of every restock day. Pickr Audio — because the warehouse picklist workflow was begging for hands-free. Native Nayax sync — because copy-pasting CSVs is not a long-term strategy.
It works. It runs Lake Macquarie Vending today. And the same logic that says "this should be easier" applies to operators everywhere — so we're sharing it.
